KanjiQuick - Japanese-English Kanji Dictionary Features
- Includes the dictionary file - search a database containing 6,500 kanji and 47,000 jukugo entries (all data from Hadamitzky/Spahn's Japanese-English Character dictionary) .
- Includes Kanji Transer - Japanese-English machine translation of all kanji and kanji compounds in a text. Input Japanese text and have all kanji and compounds automatically translated and listed with their readings and meanings
- Includes EDICT Reader - search a dictionary containing over 100,000 words and phrases. (This module is included as freeware in the test version). EDICT Reader gives you access to the Japanese-English dictionary compiled by Jim Breen and his group at Monash University.
- Optionally: KanjiQuickVoice - have any Japanese text read aloud in excellent quality with the voice module (details see Voice of Japan)
- Handwriting input to the IME-pad
KanjiQuick provides easy and quick searches within a database of 6,500 kanji characters, 47,000 compounds and displays all their readings with their associated meanings. With the voice module all Japanese text displayed can be read aloud in excellent (yes!) quality.
Find a kanji and then search for its compounds. Find a compound and search for the data of any kanji within it. Display stroke order for all jouyou kanji (animated). Display all kanji with a given reading. Display all kanji with a given number of of strokes. Display all kanji sharing the same radical. Display readings in roumaji or kana. Display all kanji or compounds in order of frequency. Display page numbers for further information in two well-known Japanese kanji dictionaries. Display kuten, JIS, Shift-JIS, EUC and Unicode codes.

Installation requirements: 60 MB space on your fixed disk (voice option additional 25 to 70 MB). Recommended: High resolution display, Pentium III 400 MHz processor or higher, 128 MB RAM or more, Windows® 2000 or XP (Info on Windows 95/98/ME versions here).
